- Graduate Apprentices: Full time Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University in relevant discipline.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:Full time Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Govt in relevant discipline.
- Non Engineering Graduates Apprentices (Arts / Science / Commerce) : Regular – Full time Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Humanities such as BA/ B.Sc., / B.Com/ BBA/ BCA etc., granted by a Statutory University / Deemed University in relevant discipline. – UGC approved
