TNUSRB Chennai invites Applications for the Following Post:
- Sub-Inspectors of Police (Taluk) (Tamil Nadu Police Subordinate Service) – 933 Posts (Male – 654 Posts), (Female – 279 Posts)
- Sub-Inspectors of Police (AR) (Tamil Nadu Police Subordinate Service) – 366 Posts (Male – 255 Posts), (Female – 111 Posts)

Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree obtained from an Institution / University approved by the government or University Grants Commission in the 10+2+3/4/5 pattern or, for diploma programs, in the 10+3+2/3 pattern. However, candidates who have obtained a Bachelor’s degree through Open Universities without going through the above pattern will not be eligible.
Age Limit:
- The applicant should have attained the age of 20 years and should not be aged above 30 years.
- The category wise maximum age limit will be given as per Govt Rules.
Application Fee:
- Applicant will have to pay examination fee – Rs.500/-
- Departmental candidates appearing for both Open Quota and Departmental Quota examinations will have to pay examination fee – Rs.1000/-
