EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :

Name of the Posts Qualifications

Head Constable (Electrician) :

  • Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board
  • Two years work experience in respective trade; or
  • One year certificate course from a recognised Industrial Training Institute or Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the respective trade; or
  • Two years Diploma from a recognised Industrial Training Institute in the respective trade or similar trade; an
  • Must qualify trade test.

Head Constable (Mechanic) only for male:

  • Passed Matriculation from a recognised Board or equivalent
  • Passed the Diploma in automobile or motor mechanical engineering or two years certificate course in automobile or motor mechanical engineering from a Government recognised Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or equivalent.
  • Possess valid Driving License for Heavy Vehicles. Desirable: Two years experience in an authorized garage or workshop.

Head Constable (Steward):

  • Matriculation from a recognised Board or Institution.
  • Should have a Diploma or certificate in Catering Kitchen management from a reputed institute.
  • One year experience in similar job in a reputed hotel.

Head Constable (Veterinary):

  • Intermediate (10+2) examination pass with Science and Biology as main subject from a recognised Board/University; and
  • Possess two years Diploma Course in Veterinary and Livestock Development or Veterinary Stock Assistant Course or Animal Husbandry Course from an institution recognized by the Central Government or State Government.
  • Desirable: One year experience in treatment of different species of animals, in a recognised Veterinary Hospital.

Head Constable (Commn):

  •  Intermediate or equivalent passed in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board or University; or
  • Should have a three years diploma in Electronics or Communications or Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognised Institute.
