Post Office GDS Recruitment 2026 notification is scheduled to be released in the first week of January 2026, as per the latest Government of India circular dated 04.12.2025. The Department of Posts will invite applications for Branch Post Master (BPM), Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM) and Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) posts under the GDS Online Engagement Schedule–I, 2026.
The circular also instructs all postal divisions to complete internal procedures before the online notification is published, confirming that the 2026 GDS recruitment is officially on the way. Eligible Indian citizens can apply online through the official GDS portal.
